Comprehensive Evaluations
90 minutes | $300
Comprehensive evaluations are a combination of informal and formal assessments designed to understand your child’s communication needs.
With an emphasis on identifying strengths, the assessment is used to build connection, guide therapy, and set meaningful goals.
Let’s chat about your concerns to get started.
Speech sound disorders
Having difficulty understanding what your child is saying?
As children mature their speech becomes easier to understand. However, for children who are not meeting speech sound production milestones, communication can be challenging.
Not only is speech clarity important, but speech sound production is highly connected to literacy. This emphasizes the importance of early treatment .
I have a passion for treating speech sound disorders, including phonological and articulation disorders, and childhood apraxia of speech (CAS).
Let’s discuss how we can work on increasing your child’s clarity of speech.
Gestalt language
Did you know there is more than one way to develop language?
Gestalt language processors develop language through delayed echolalia. Rather than developing words, then phrases, then sentences, gestalt processors develop language in “chunks.” These chunks of language may be referred to be several terms including “scripts,” “gestalts,” or “echolalia.”
In GLP-informed therapy the goal is to move from delayed echolalia (repeating memorized scripts) toward self-generated, flexible language. Therapy is connection-based, and focused on supporting the child’s individual stage of language learning.

Early Intervention
Concerned about your child’s communication development?
From babbling to first words and phrases, so much happens before a child begins preschool!
Early intervention services are designed for children from birth to age 3 who may be experiencing delays in pre-linguistic skills and communication development.
Research shows that the earlier a child receives support, the better their chances are for improved communication skills and academic success.
